After having six weeks of chemotherapy in hospital, we were told the chemotherapy had not worked and that Tallulah had a gene called Philadelphia gene. We were told the gene had mutated and that Tallulah would need to have immunotherapy, radiotherapy and a bone marrow transplant to save her life.
Tallulah had a bone marrow transplant on 19 October 2023 and had to stay in isolation for eight weeks, which meant she couldn't see her brother and sister.
Thankfully, on 26 November, we were told Tullulah had no detected cancer in her blood or bone marrow.
Tullulah has had a tough time but has continued to fight and does so with a big smile on her face. She's still recovering from her bone marrow transplant but is looking forward to getting back to school to be with her friends again.
