Research at CCLG

We know that research is the key to better treatments, improved care, and potential cures that mean a bright future for children and young people (CYP) with cancer.

That's why we are committed to not only funding new research, but also to supporting and developing the CYP research community.

The incredible progress in treating cancer in children and young people is built on decades of dedicated research and clinical trials. Over the last 40 years, this research has transformed survival rates, with more than 80% of children now being cured.

CCLG has been at the heart of this progress, driving research and collaboration to improve outcomes. With our new research strategy, and as the host of two Cancer Clinical Research Groups, we will continue to push for a better future for all young people diagnosed with cancer.
