Research is the key to better treatments, improved care and support, and potential cures. We fund and lead world-class research, fuelling groundbreaking work led by brilliant minds. We’re proud to lead the way in shaping research that addresses the unique needs of children and young people with cancer, and we’re committed to supporting research that children and young people with cancer, their families, and those who care for them, have told us are their top priorities.
Our Research Funds mean you can choose to support research in a particular area or type of cancer that is most important to you. From making a donation to organising a fundraiser or taking part in a sponsored event, contributing to our Research Funds helps accelerate research into priority areas.

Brain Tumour Research Fund
Brain tumours account for about a quarter of cancer diagnoses in children and around 12% in teenagers and young adults, but they are the biggest cause of cancer deaths in children and young people.
Blood Cancer Research Fund
Blood cancers (leukaemias and lymphomas) account for around 40% of cancers diagnosed in children and over a quarter of cancers diagnosed in teenagers and young adults.
Neuroblastoma Research Fund
Around 100 children in the UK are diagnosed with neuroblastoma each year. Support world-class research that helps to improve our understanding of neuroblastoma.
Living With and Beyond Cancer Research Fund
Many of the research priorities identified by children and young people with cancer themselves, their families, and those who treat and care for them, relate to living with and beyond cancer
Teenage and Young Adult Cancer Research Fund
Being diagnosed with cancer when you are just starting to make your own way in the world is hugely challenging. Teenagers and young adults with cancer have specific needs in cancer research.
Sarcoma Research Fund
Sarcomas are cancers that occur in the connective tissues of the body, like bones, muscle and cartilage.
