This leaflet is for parents and families who are interested in finding out more about how complementary and natural therapies can help their child to cope with the side effects of cancer and its treatment.
Complementary therapies are a collection of different approaches used alongside medical cancer treatments such as surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy and biological therapy. They do not treat or cure cancer but can offer relief from symptoms and help promote feelings of emotional and physical wellbeing.
