What is supportive care?
Supportive care is what we call care that helps prevent and manage any side effects of cancer treatment, including physical and psychosocial effects. Supportive care is in place from the point of diagnosis and all the way through treatment.
This page includes information resources for parents, carers and families on some of the different side-effects that children and young people may experience during their treatment and what support is available to help reduce and manage them.
