The Bank of America Chicago Marathon has more than 45,000 finishers and an estimated 1.7 million on-course spectators. Starting and finishing at Grant Park, runners will tour 29 of Chicago’s neighbourhoods and cover over 25 miles.
The loop course and abundance of public transportation options mean friends and family can cheer runners on at many locations along the course.
The Bank of America Chicago Marathon has a long history of hosting the world’s fastest runners and has been the site of three men’s world records, and three women’s world records.
CCLG charity place
Apply now for a CCLG charity place in the 2027 Bank of America Chicago Marathon. For one of our charity places, there is a non-refundable registration fee of £100 (payable when we accept your application), and we ask you to pledge to raise a minimum of £2,000 in sponsorship.
The Chicago Marathon is a key event in our fundraising calendar, so we have to set certain expectations for our runners.
We receive far more applications than we have available race places, so unfortunately not everyone who applies will be given a place. We will inform you either way of the outcome.
Please note that if you are offered a CCLG guaranteed place in the Chicago Marathon, we are unable to restrict the funds to a Special Named Fund. If you would like further information about this, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
