Developed in partnership with GPs, this factsheet gives an overview of the key considerations when caring for a child being treated for cancer. The risk of a child developing cancer is comparable to the risks of other common childhood conditions such as diabetes, epilepsy and bacterial meningitis. Cancer incidence rates are highest in children aged 0-4.
