A charity led by bereaved parents offering practical information, guidance and support from people who really do understand. The website also lists local support groups around the UK.

Anthony Nolan

Matches individuals willing to donate their blood stem cells or bone marrow to those needing a donor transplat.

Blood Cancer UK

Dedicated to beating blood cancer by funding research, supporting those affected, and campaigning for change.

Bone Cancer Research Trust

The Bone Cancer Research Trust aim to improve outcomes for people with primary bone cancer through research, awareness, information and support.

The Brain Tumour Charity

The charity funds scientific and clinical research, raises awareness of the symptoms and effects of brain tumours, influences policy and provides support and information to those affected.

CALM - Children's Cancer and Leukaemia Movement

CALM is a independent local charity, caring for the needs of families within the Swindon and Marlborough area who have or have had children or young persons dealing with Cancer or Leukaemia.

Cancer Research UK

Fund scientists, doctors and nurses to help beat cancer sooner and provides cancer information to the public.

Candlelighters

Candlelighters supports families of a child with cancer in Yorkshire. They offer a range of services, including holidays, family events and emotional, practical and financial support.

CanTeen Ireland

CanTeen Ireland is a nationwide support group for young people age 12-25 years, who have or have had cancer.

Child Bereavement UK

Child Bereavement UK helps families to rebuild their lives when a child grieves or when a child dies. They support children and young people (up to the age of 25) when someone important to them has died or is not expected to live, and parents and the wider family when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying.

Child Death Helpline

The national freephone Child Death Helpline dedicated to provide a quality service to anyone affected by the death of a child of any age – whether they are parents, grandparents, siblings, family members, friends or involved professionals. Staffed by trained volunteer parents, all of them bereaved.

Child Funeral Charity

Assists families financially in England and Wales who have to arrange a funeral for a baby or child from 12 weeks of gestation to age 17 (up to 18th birthday).

The Childhood Cancer Parents Alliance (CCPA)

The Childhood Cancer Parents Alliance (CCPA) provides support, encouragement and advice to families whose children have a cancer diagnosis: both during and after treatment. Through a network of over 30 member organisations, they share knowledge and best practice and represent family views on issues of service provision, research and care.

Children of Jannah

A charity that supports grieving Muslim parents and families following the death of a child or baby.

The Compassionate Friends

TCF is a charitable organisation of bereaved parents, siblings and grandparents dedicated to the support and care of other bereaved parents, siblings, and grandparents who have suffered the death of a child/children.

Ellen Macarthur Cancer Trust

The Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust is a national charity that takes young people aged 8-24 on sailing and outdoor adventures to inspire them to believe in a brighter future living through and beyond cancer.

Good Grief Trust

The Good Grief Trust exists to help all those affected by grief in the UK, acknowledging their grief and providing reassurance, a virtual hand of friendship and ongoing support. They bring bereavement services together, to ensure that everyone receives the tailored support they need to move forward with their lives.

Histio UK

In 2014 the Histiocytosis Research Trust merged its activities with Histiocytosis UK. They aim to provide information support to patients and their families and raise public and professional awareness of histiocytic disorders.

Humanists UK

Represents the interests of ethically concerned but non-religious people. Their celebrants provide non-religious funeral ceremonies.

JTV Cancer Support

JTV Cancer Support is a project for teenagers and young adults who have been affected by cancer. Using all aspects of media it enables young people to explore and express their feelings, and make some sense of their very personal journeys from diagnosis onwards.

Kids Cancer Charity

Provides a range of services, all aimed to improve the quality of life for children with cancer and their families.

Lennox Children's Cancer Fund

Support families through childhood cancer, providing a lifeline for children and their families experiencing the trauma and heartache of a childhood cancer diagnosis.

Leukaemia Care

A national blood cancer support charity who are dedicated to ensuring that anyone affected by blood cancer receives the right information, advice and support.

Little Princess Trust

The Little Princess Trust provides free real hair wigs to children and young people up to the age of 24, who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or other conditions. They also fund childhood cancer research searching to find kinder and more effective treatments.

Lymphoma Action

UK charity dedicated to lymphoma. Provides information for people affected by lymphoma, supports research and care.

Lymphoma Action TrialsLink

A clinical trials information service created by Lymphoma Action. This has lots of patient-friendly information and resources about clinical trials. It includes a regularly-updated database of lymphoma-related clinical trials that are currently recruiting in the UK, which is searchable by location, type of lymphoma, status of lymphoma and age.

Macmillan

Provide services for people living with cancer at every stage of their cancer experience including emotional, practical, physical, and financial support.

Maggie's

Maggie’s offers free practical, emotional and social support to people with cancer and their families and friends. Help is offered freely to anyone with any type of cancer.

Neuroblastoma UK

Neuroblastoma UK is a charity dedicated to funding research into causes and treatment of neuroblastoma. NBUK works closely with other organisations, to raise awareness and campaign for better funding and treatment of childhood cancer.

The Oncology Guide

A simple, safe and trusted resource for families to access information they need to help them navigate the start of their cancer journey. Includes child friendly videos to explain procedures and treatments.

PASIC

PASIC provide emotional, social and practical support to families of children and young people with cancer living in the East Midlands to improve the quality of their lives.

Sarcoma UK

The only cancer charity in the UK focusing on all types of sarcoma. Their aim is to increase knowledge and awareness of sarcoma through ground-breaking programmes.

Solving Kids Cancer

Solving Kids’ Cancer UK is a dedicated children’s cancer charity, with a particular focus on neuroblastoma. They strive for better outcomes for children affected by cancer both now and in the future under three key pillars of research, support and awareness. Their Family Support Services provide emotional, practical and financial support to families across the UK.

Teens Unite

Teens Unite supports those in their teens and early 20's who are fighting cancer to live their best life, whilst others search for a cure.
