This factsheet is for parents, carers and families. It gives an overview of neuroblastoma, including symptoms, diagnosis and treatment to help you understand more about the type of cancer your child has. Information in this guide should be used to support professional advice specific to your child's diagnosis.
Written to accompany our comprehensive guides 'Children and young people with cancer: a parent's guide' and 'A guide to neuroblastoma'.
A series of videos have been made for young patients and their families to explain the different stages of treatment for high-risk neuroblastoma, along with information about the high-risk neuroblastoma 2 study (HR-NBL2). These videos were developed by CCLG in partnership with Solving Kids Cancer National Neuroblastoma Nursing Group including input from parents and families. We hope you find these helpful.
